Instability, inequality, and corruption continue to determine the financial condition of Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe needs a change. We must rid the country of a complete socialist approach where Mugabe’s regime has nationalized its companies. These companies provide no tax benefit to the country and worse, the failing economy has produced a country of people who can not buy the goods and services needed for companies to be profitable and pay taxes. In the political and social instability that has frightened foreign investment must end now with a more secure administration in place and that is what I will provide the country of Zimbabwe. I want to create a successful Zimbabwe and bring them into a modern world that plays by the rules of fair competition and a market economy.
No longer can we support a regime who demands total control over the economy. We must help and support private firms with incentives so that they can create jobs for Zimbabweans and make a profit to contribute back to the country through taxes. We must find a balance between how we use foreign aid and creating an environment to boost and encourage private investment and entrepreneurship, with the long term benefits to our country and our economy in mind. We must also work to end and punish for the corruption in our government economy and control the circulation of money. The only victims are the Zimbabwean people.
In order to change and improve the economic conditions, we must first lay the foundation of stability, equality, and lawfulness. This will create a strong ground to build upon our futures. We need to elect government officials like myself, who have the future of Zimbabwe in mind and who is of service to the people, not our pocketbooks. I want to provide Zimbabwe with stability and security, invite foreign investors so that we can create jobs, and provide strong oversight on new policies and laws that will govern the return to a prosperous Zimbabwe.
